VEO and I.C Electrical stronger together
VEO and I. C Electrical (ICE) have signed a co-operation agreement in December 2015. The purpose of the co-operation is to deepen and further develop the ongoing partnering relationship between the companies into a long-term, committed and mutually beneficial partnership.
THIS CO-OPERATION WILL FURTHER STRENGTHEN VEO’S POSITION ON THE UK MARKET.
ICE is based in Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire and was founded in 1986. They have extensive experience in carrying out electrical installations in process and industrial applications.
VEO is based in Vaasa, West coast of Finland and was founded in 1989. VEO is an energy expert offering automation and electrification solutions for electricity production, distribution and the process industry. VEO has the largest switchgear factory in the Nordic countries. The company’s turnover amounted to 64 MEUR in 2014.
The two companies have a common track record since 2008. Together they have supplied automation and electrification for the process industry and several bio power plants in the UK. In September 2015 the first VEO Medium Voltage switchgear was delivered to Norbord in Inverness which was closely followed by a second Medium Voltage switchgear to William Grants in Dufftown.
The combination of VEO’s range of products, experience and strong knowhow allied with ICE’s range of services will better serve the customers.
– VEO has established a strong foothold in Norway and Sweden. Now VEO is aiming for the UK market with the same successful business model. We see great potential on the UK market for our products and services.
