Collaboration with BHS

I.C.Electrical are currently in another collaboration with US based Bulk Handling Systems. We have worked with them on previous projects all over the UK. BHS are market leaders in manufacturing and installing systems to extract recyclables from the waste stream. Suez Recycling and Recovery are to purchase, operate and maintain Aberdeen City Council’s recycling facility. They have appointed BHS who have, in turn, appointed I.C.Electrical to carry out the electrical design and installation. The single stream materials recovery facility (MRF) will process 20 tonnes per hour recovering 95% of co-mingled recyclables. The RDF plant will process 30 tph of Refuse Derived Fuel (80,000t per year). The site is due to be running mid- 2017 and will be instrumental in enabling Aberdeen to achieve its recycling targets. The city’s rate will increase from 37% at present to 56% by 2020.
